Great teachings. It gives enlightenment and the teachings are humane because it aims equality among human being. I just found this site while searching for some interesting topic. I like the article however not the way how people from other countries are treated. I hope that you'd be humane too.

Yes right - on the other hand, your English is poor and your Philippines IP address conflicts somewhat with your claimed Oklahoma photographic location.

This is an example of the clever comment spam going on now. (SP)

Inspiring teachings. The translations helped so much for us to understand the admonitions. Buddhist teachings can also be applied by people of other religions. It is practical and aims of not harming other being.

I've let this comment through because the sentiment is spot on...

However.
It's probably copied from elsewhere, verbatim.

And I don't like the comment source. How so?

Well the East Coast US business has an IP address located in the Philippines and their WHOIS shows that their business is hidden. These are not traits that I'd ascribe to a normal wedding photography business so they fail my test for allowing reverse linking....

Nikko Shonin mastered the Daishonin’s Buddhism by faithfully
following the Daishonin and constantly serving him. This is the
shining example for all followers of the Daishonin’s Buddhism and
the heart of the practice of Buddhism.

This was one of the first activities I went to with Roger I think. What first impressed me was that Mr Causton thanked us all for coming so genuinely. He was so warm and compassionate, dressed like a formal old British Army bloke, but speaking like a close friend or a father. He said he was an old man and retired, so would have nothing to do if we had not come. This was the first time I had experienced Buddhist compassion and I was very moved.

The fact that he saw fit to put on these detailed, complex, highly learned and important lectures at a time which I now realise Buddhism was under threat, has reminded me always of the strength and importance of our close master-disciple relationship with Daisaku Ikeda, and the importance that we keep the true teaching pure, and have the personal courage to resist evil priests, however subtle and confusing their guise.
