Sarkozy has No Money in the Bank! It Must be Under the Mattress.
In another twist in the constantly churning world of the “Credit Crunch”, it was revealed on Sunday that French President Nicolas Sarkozy has NO FAITH in the banking system! Yes. It’s true.
Apparently, as revealed in Sunday’s Le Journal du Dimanche, his bank account was hacked by cyber-criminals and “only a small amount of money” was taken.
And that is the point!
He now has such little confidence in the banks, (those that are left, that is), that he has nowhere to keep his stash and is forced to to keep it under the bed.
That’s the only possible explanation.
Recently, there has been an ever-increasing trend of cyber theft. As the article says, “only stupid people rob banks anymore”.
But this latest development means that the arch-criminals will now have to ditch the easy-money on cyber street and return to good old-fashioned theft from people and property as,
- There’s no money in the banks anyway and,
- No-one will either,
- (a) Have any money or
- (b) Keep any money in a bank for fear of losing it.
It’s a funny old world.
