Bridgwater Carnival is the largest free show on earth. Some bits are crap, some entertaining, some very samey and every now and again, you see something that is truly astounding – but that’s live and free for you!
It’s highly weather dependant but bizarrely, the weather calms and it’s usually a crisp November night for 100,000 people by the roadside.
