Freak Electric Folks

As promised, I’ve squeezed some juice out of some Freak Elektrik tracks that I have on an old cassette. The band played in the North-East of England in the early 80s – I’d love to know what Lorny and Ian, Moyly and George are up to now. Crawling Chaos shared some times with them..

Anyway, here’s one track that’s reasonably clean and not too muffled ;-) The rest I’ll put in this posting as and when.

This is my all-abiding memory of Freak Elektrik. It’s the point in the show when Ian cracks out the feedback on his ostrich guitar and the weird guy at the front with no clothes on used to go beserk. The SOUND at that point is how I remember the Freaks, their whole gig can be summarised in those few seconds – brilliant!
