This bloomin’ tune has been in my head again. It’s Miii-iiiiii-sisssiiippi, I remem-ber you. Just that bit, that hook and the naff bass line. It keeps coming back and it’s done so since 1976. I reckon the creation of such pieces as Zombie Dance by Crawling Chaos (another version of which I’m currently cleaning up), was my own personal antidote to this stuff; a way to cleanse my brain and soul, a way to anaesthetise the synapses and inoculate my internal emotions from such stimuli.
