Joe Meek in the Studio

I notice that on the most recent broadcast for 31 Jan 2008, Rory starts off with a Joe Meek tune and a bit of background information about the guy and his times. I discussed Joe Meek on this site some time ago now with boy-band Paul. For some of the Crawling Chaos stuff we did, I developed some of his avant-garde freedoms that he explored. Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

It also features stuff from Crawling Chaos that I sent in for the show. This starts at 2:37:15, right near the end of the show this time. The single track is Sex Machine done live and discussed here on the Crawling Chaos site as well as the streaming audio page. It’s quite a privilege to be on the same show as Meek and it finishes with Faust – wow. Fucking great! :)
