Thanks Didier! Sabre appears to work!

This screenshot shows two registration bot attacks on my Crawling Chaos site from Russia. This plugin just saves so much time. I just have to check occasionally to make sure I’m not blocking someone genuine.

If you can’t read the details, here they are copied and pasted:

onewNeemFiews mikhajl-ivan@yandex.ru 69.217.73.52 2008-03-09 06:01:56 Fake user.
Fake Javascript capabilities.
Invalid code.

Invalid math result.

So if anyone else has had this peril and is unsure of these two entries…

Ditch Them!

  1. Hi, Martin

Thanks a lot for your positive opinion about my work.
I hope Sabre will make your blog safer for a long time.

    Best regards,
    Didier

  2. Hi,

I have a problem with the Sabre, I’ve already installed the plugin but the problem is I don’t know hot can I prompt or see the front end registration form of the Sabre.

    Thanks and regards

    Jordan

    • Ask Didier is the best way. However, what happens in the registration form is in the plugin’s settings – it’s appearance and other behavior. You’ll only see the form if you’re logged off. If you want to see what the changes do, then check out your website in a different make of browser in the unlogged-in state and do a refresh after making the changes in the Sabre settings.
