Introduction
I’ve done a fair bit of checking around the Google Treasure Chest/Money Kit scamming systems to try and alieviate some of the pain that a lot of people have been afflicted with.
Now follows possibly the most extensive scam list and redirects that I’ve found. I class this post from workathometruth.com as a:
Very Important Link!
http://www.workathometruth.com/blog/2009/04/17/make-money-posting-links-on-google-scam/ – Make Money Posting Links On Google Scam.
I haven’t posted the list. It’s all you need in the link, all nearly in alphabetic order. Pages and pages of it!

i ordered this CD because it was advertized on national t.v., i think it was ABC. What a scam, an awful scam. in todays economy so many people are trying to work from home, and to be treated this way is absolutely terrible. my bank has called GTC and i may be getting my money back, they say i will, but, sure has been a lot of trouble. GOOGLE TREASURE CHEST YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
@gloria.
They don’t care Gloria, and neither do Google or else they’d do more about it! Let me (and everyone else who reads this) know if you manage to get a refund, can you?
I’m so glad to have found this site. It comfirmed my gut feeling that I shouldn’t have paid attention to that ‘google logo’ and ‘christian mom blog’–so I thought.
I just finished cancelling my card today, even after I finally contacted BK customer service # (I didn’t think somebody would answer but I got through). I cancelled the trial period…which initially the claim was 14 days; however, after I signed up and got the email response, it mentioned only a 7-day trial and I will be billed more than the $1.97 shipping/handling. It didn’t sound right. I’m glad I listened to the little voice that prompted me to further check out…and still cancel the card while the charge was still $1.97!
@zylla3
Excellent news! It’s my experience that our ‘gut feelings’ are correct at least 90% of the time, even though we’ll let our mind take over and rationalise that feeling away. So the answer:
– what’s the worst that can happen if they’re wrong? Almost always, nothing.
BTW. Nice website. It’s been a funny week for me with drums popping up several times, like here for instance. The past just gets churned and churned, mistakes and good times, all.
