Way back, I think three of us (me, Jeff and Jim from Derrim) went across to South Shields on the Freda Cunningham (the ferry) at lunchtime and in the naff pub next to the ferry landing our drinks got well and truly spiked. We only went for a pint or three and we were up all night.

The Ramones tune, “Somebody put Something in my Drink” just makes me laugh and is a ‘omage to events of that type. This recorded version is about the slowest it was ever done!
