BBC, one thing right, one thing wrong
The BBC has taken a lot of care in cracking open a few flaws in the Facebook monolith, see click_online. This is good, although really, they should have waited until Facebook had reacted in some way before telling all the petty coders out there to start wreaking havoc.
It’s also a shame they didn’t give the same level of attention to their implementation of embedded videos on their website, one of which appears on the click-online link above!
This article, one of many, new-bbc-site-struggles-with-firefox, describes how your browser will be likely to crash if you’re using Firefox (I’ve had this once or twice..).
Check near the bottom of the above article; You’ll notice how the BBC can be “economical with the truth” when it comes to classifying their user’s browser preferences! Disingenuous in the least.
You see, if you live in a greenhouse, just be careful when you start chucking stones! :-)
