George Melly is dead
(not the man on the telly…) George Melly’s dead. Doomage will remember the reference in the Tom and Jerry film with the Zoot Soots (Suits). In Crawling Chaos, it would have been an EFS but “The Lady from Shanghai” was it, I suppose.
I want a Zoot Suit, and I want it NOW!

The bit “I love you, …you set ma seul ern fire” kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss – is in both cartoons, and is the killer for me. I used to sing the Is You Is bit in the George Melly style, which is trad jazz I guess.
