At the time it appears to have made a bit of a stink. <span class="removed_link" title="http://tylerlee.blogchina.com/blog/5788109.html">This site</span>, lists it as a<em> magazine cover competition finalist </em>for that year, although I've never been aware of such a bizarre concept. <span class="removed_link" title="http://www.rightwinged.com/2006/04/drudge_flash_rolling_stone_cov.html">This right wing show</span> has the best reproduction I found so far and is a bit peeved about it.... Ha yes.
