Tony Benn in Bing Top 3 – BBC Hide Tony Benn Funeral

Bing Search Shows True Popularity of Tony Benn

Benn Funeral

Benn Funeral

I’ve seen the Bing search engine promote Tony Benn’s funeral to the top 3 searches, while the BBC coverage almost hide’s the funeral!  For god’s sake, people cheered and applauded with gratitude in the streets as the coffin went past!  There was NO jeering.

Many people on social media have commented that the Tory government is manipulating the news output through changing the hire & fire of those that run the corporation to tory supporters and lobby groups.  This is readily apparent today, when comparing the BBC output for the funeral of a revered MP, Tony Benn, to that of Thatcher, the former leader, loathed and derided my millions.  See Mike, for instance.

Benn, top 3 on Bing!

Benn, top 3 on Bing!

Many on Facebook and Twitter have pointed out this difference.  So I checked an alternate stream…. the load page of Bing (Microsoft’s search engine).  That’s it here.

You will see that the top 3 web searches are (were):

  • Ukraine IMF Bailout
  • Tony Benn Funeral
  • Obama meets Pope

BBC Hide, BBC Change?

BBC Shove It

BBC Shove It

I was hoping to get some screenshots of the search results, but since I started typing, the results are now driving the BBC up the rankings! (Initially, the BBC was not to be seen!)

I can only assume that this is due to some BBC editorial decisions following on from a myriad of postings onto the BBC FB and Twitter pages of photo memes and comments like this one.

Key Differences?

Comparing the military coldness Thatcher funeral, where the police outnumbered the spectators 3 to 1, where the BBC really struggles to show any pictures of anyone or anything that is not part of the establishment, where the thin crowds are strung out and kept back like kids at the zoo, Benn’s funeral was a large, well attended, peaceful affair, where politicos and commentators from all sides paid due respect to a man who always spoke his mind, and was for the most part, consistent.  There was a warmth and closeness at Benn’s which was noticeably lacking at Thatcher’s send off.

BBC Funeral of Thatcher

BBC Funeral of Thatcher

Here’s Benn’s summarised.  Follow the links through.  Thick crowds, not the thin cold lines at Thatchers, all guarded and marshalled by thousands of police.

You have to ask, why such a difference?  The answer is obvious, but you won’t find the BBC expanding on it.  Only latterly has this belated report come out, now snuggled down and buried under the 2 year fudge of an enquiry into energy business prices.  It says,

A large crowd holding trade union and anti-war banners lined the route of his funeral cortege.

There were tears and sustained applause as the procession arrived at St Margaret’s Church, yards from the House of Commons.

Benn's Funeral

Benn’s Funeral

So why the subterfuge?  Matt Cole in small print says,

You could tell Tony Benn’s coffin had arrived at St Margaret’s before you could see it – because loud spontaneous applause broke out.

Yeah right.  Too late Matt.  Just too damned late.  You should have less fear.  They cannot hurt you by speaking the truth out loud right from the off.  Now’s the time to take a hold of the BBC and make it what it should be – after all – we all pay for it.

Introduction

I knew there was something really, really dodgy about that MyBookFace.net crap highlighted in this post the other day. Not only are they connected to some serious malware (as detailed in the posting), but they’ve an interesting line in popups!!!

Google Treasure Chest Rises Yet Again!

Here’s what to do…

Blogs » MyBookFace (Powered by phpFoX)

Blogs » MyBookFace

  1. Go to http://mybookface.net making sure that you’ve emptied your browser cache and removed cookies (you will find that the popup only appears once, if you close it down. So if you need to see it again, clear your cache & cookies)
  2. Now click on the “Blogs” link which is
    • You’ll now be presented with a popup window for San Francisco DAILY NEWS. This is located at http://www.net-news-daily.com and is yet another pseudo-news website that appears to be full of interesting links!
  3. Link Information for: www.net-news-daily.com

    Link Information for: www.net-news-daily.com

Actually, all of the links go to only a couple of destinations….. If you use the “Web Developer” plugin for Firefox, you can quickly see all the links in a web document – and in this case, there aren’t many!

    • You’ll also see that the T&C type links at the page bottom don’t work!! (these are the javascript void links)
  4. Let’s follow the link… Where do you think it ends up?

Google Fortune – GoogleWorksToday.com

Unbelievable, isn’t it?..!!

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google!

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google!

As seen and trusted on ABC, CNBC, CNN it says!! – well that’s one way of putting it!

In essence, it’s the same old trip we’ve had from Google Treasure Chest, Google Revolution, Google Money Tree. So from now on, anything like this is lumped into one ‘thing’ called Google Bollox.

The page is actually quite inviting and not quite as gaudy as before. Apparently, you can earn up to $907 per day (damn – I was hoping for $935 again.)

The same poor logic and content checking is going on though – at the bottom they helpfully inform the reader that their product isn’t endorsed by Fox News even though this is the first actual mention of Murdoch’s child.

Also at the bottom, there’s another new company (for me) called FunWebProfits View Marketing, Inc., 642 Main Street, Nevis. Nevis is that island in the Caribbean again!

Who Are They?

This seems a relatively recent addition. A Google search on the full name and address produces nothing. However, separating the name and address into two different searches produces the now-usual crop of complaints and allegations of fraud and theft that we’ve become accustomed to.

Try FunWebProfits View Marketing, Inc., 642 Main Street, Nevis.

The Nevis address has been in these pages several times. See:

Using this earlier research, and the website: http://www.sknvibes.com/Business/Trust.cfm?Vz=1, we can say that the Nevis company is:

Nevis International Trust Co. Ltd.
Mr. Eugene Herbert
P.O. Box 642
Hamilton Development
Nevis
Tel: 1 (869) 469-5132
Fax: 1 (869) 469-5898
E-mail: inttrust@caribsurf.com
Website: http://www.inttrust.com

The header at the top of the inttrust about page says it all. It’s a dinky little island so has to make money somehow…

Nevis is an excellent jurisdiction in which to open a Limited Liability Company (LLC). The Nevis Limited Liability Company Ordinance was passed in 1995 and has become very popular.

It offers a full range of financial services and products including asset management and protection, company formation and administration, insurance, foundations, mutual funds administration, offshore banking, investment management, and trust services.

Nevis offshore companies are free from taxation and are protected in privacy by the 1985 Confidential Relationship Act.

The blurb on their website offers strict confidentiality along with business expertise from the United States and Britain!

Another interesting bit is that the copyright for this crap is claimed by a company called “View Marketing”. This makes a Google Search on them very hard, presumably by design! The inconsistent punctuation is designed to mislead, is it not? I take it they’re nothing to do with the Scottish Tourism company of the same name… etc etc etc.

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google: Credit Card Entry Page

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google: Credit Card Entry Page

Because the GoogleWorksToday.com page is a “Limited Time Offer”, I thought I’d better leap in now before it’s too late…

I used my standard spam magnet email address but with a name of “Donna Kebab”(I’ll be waiting for some spam on this name, natch). I used the postcode of Scotland Yard in London and their general enquiries telephone number…. Mysteriously, I notice that they have a “mark of the devil” contact number of 877-402-2666….. Hmmm. Let’s check that out using Google, seeing as how I’m starting a new career with it today!!

Oh Dear! Best not.

This phone number already appears to have ‘prior’, as the boys in blue would say… Apart from the few scam sites like realjobsfast.com say, all the hits are complaints! Like:

Needless to say, like your typical “News of the World” reporter, I’ve made an excuse and left! However, this was not before noticing that the credit card page of GoogleWorksToday.com at

..has a WHOIS of:

This Florida place is in these little shack businesses, very nice.

However, spin round 180 degrees and we can find one possible source for the ‘company’ name… The large building is called “View Gardens”, ha ha!

Paths Running Deep and Murky

One of the scam site results in the Google search for the 877-402-2666 number was another pseudo news site (these must be effective because of their prevalence):

New York Reporter News at http://web.archive.org/web/20090802103410/http://news9at6.com:80/index14.php?

Jobs - Employment - New York Local News: Scam site

Jobs - Employment - New York Local News: Scam site

This scam site even has very convincing YouTube news-type videos, all targeted at the work-at-home-mom thing. As before, apart from the inbound feeds that add authenticity, there are hardly any links.

Most links point to this sucker-inner website:

http://web.archive.org/web/20090809071637/http://news9at6.com:80/google14.php?arid=

which redirects to:

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google! This time at https://www.processcartcenter.com

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google! This time at https://www. processcart center.com

…that will have an aura of familiarity for readers of my Google Treasure Chest – it’s a scam and a half! posting from April (yes, it’s processcartcenter.com again) and also, it’s exactly the same Google Fortune page as before, but with a different address…..

Whois, Who Are They?

All is not lost. Check out the IP addresses in the WHOIS’s for processcartcenter.com and googleworkstoday.com which are:

  • 209.90.119.16
  • 209.90.119.11

These are obviously related. Now if you suspect that they live in Utah, I’m not betting any money with you. The WHOIS for both these IP addresses is:

Fibernet Corporation: 1155 S 800 E, Orem, Utah 84097

Talk about keeping it in the family!

The Tabernacle-like building houses 3 companies:

Of the three, Fiber.net (sic) has definitely been involved in spamming from 1997 through to at least 2007. Nethosting.com seems to be a standard webhosting entity with the usual good and bad references.

Ceristar seems a bit odd, to say the least! Their previously posted domain name ceristar.com is up for sale and since 2000 they have had a host of double stock swapping company mergers and takeovers. Their stock exchange reference (OTC BB: CTRI) now seems to point to a Chinese Organic Food business, which wholly at odds with previous references to the company setting up ISP-related connections to all and sundry in Utah.

Conclusion

Scam, scam and thrice scam.

The only thing missing from this ferago of twisted and hidden businesses is some references to County Durham, Gibraltar, Pasig City or Nicosia, Cyprus.

No doubt they’ll pop up soon (pun intended)

Naturally, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THESE “OPPORTUNITIES”!!!

Robert G Allen, Grants, and a Credit Card Slimeball

Introduction

This is a small investigation into mail lists and scammy companies.  Some companies are fine, but I always go by the adage to judge a man by the company he keeps.  This shows how lists spread far beyond their initial purpose when you sign up for something.  It also shows how the privacy policies of these marketting websites are just words wrapped in fluff.

Robert G Allen runs ‘courses’ and is highly public in his utterances.  His website is http://web.archive.org/web/20090106001934/http://robertallenmedia.com/

Robert G AllenHere you’ll find the chubby faced entrepreneur open and engaging, and in common with all such sites, remarkably thin in actual methods used despite the vast amount of time extolling their virtues.  They will always say it’s “to protect our secrets” etc.

Funnily enough, when EasyJet was started by Stelios Haji-Ioannou, I remember him going on national telly and saying “I’m starting a new airline – we are different because we are cheap and there are no frills” and it didn’t do him any harm.

Whatever.

The point is that having ‘signed’ up for three scammy looking enterprises, the flood of spam I initially received has now turned into a deluge.  I’m now definitely one of the

“business opportunity enthusiasts who have invested (…) to learn how to make money using Incentivized Freebie Websites”!!! – as I said here.

Spam

The fact that Bobbie Allen has a 365 day money-back guarantee and a nice Reno address is besides the point.  Myself, Allen, Grants scams, EBay Success schemes, Christian Debt Solutions and Cash For Gold (to name several, but not all);   we are all now intimately connected by email lists which are passed around with gay abandon as proven in the link above to Monica St John’s Project Payday.  A secret once out is no longer a secret, and it’s no good these sites in their ‘policies’ saying spam is forbidden by their affiliates, which they do, because they don’t care.  They’ve got the money;  and the sites, as shown by the connections below, breed like rabbits!  Several have only lasted a week, a week when they can scam a few folk and then bog off.

Links and Query Strings

The connections run very deep.  While Robert Allen is at robertallenmedia.com, it’s accessed by these links from 2 weeks of spam mail relating to various subjects I’ve listed.

Robert Allen doesn’t get linked to by accident, remember.  He is getting money from them and because of that point, he’s as much part of it as anyone.

You’ll see that there are various links back to similar sounding websites,  most of which pointed to grantsforcitizens.org  initially.  All email was sent to the same person ‘Murdon’, an alias I used only once.  Both websites use the annoying helpful popups as you try to close them down, (something that my webhost has started doing so they need telling off )!  The last three are when ‘Murdon’ passed into someone else’s control.   Epic Media Solutions was a common factor in these.  They are listed in the order received;

  • – Robert Allen! (Dabblers need not apply)

Robert Miller?

The similarities in this are obvious.  All these addresses (except the last three) redirect to either Robert Allen as shown or else the odious avatar of Robert Miller, terribly concerned about the current financial crisis.  He’s so concerned that he forgot to leave any real USA contacts in any of the T&C links even though it’s all about US grants!  He’s a busy man.  He has buried a statement from LANETE ENTERPRISES LTD WHOSE REGISTERED ADDRESS IS 3, BELL LANE, GIBRALTAR and helpfully makes a teeny comment that the business is subject to the laws of Nicosia in Cyprus!

Author’s Note: if you wish to be subject to the laws of Cyprus but make a claim against someone in Gibraltar regarding US Gov’t Grants – it’s up to you…

Continuing Links

Concurrent with the above, I also signed up to a scheme using the alias, ‘morton House’.  It’s a good idea to use slightly wrong case as it shows that automation has missed it and allows better traceability…  The signup time was about halfway down the above list.

This bunch start with eBay websites featuring an equally obnoxiously cheery avatar purporting to be Michael Green.  It the same financial tale of woe and optimism.  Robert Allen appears again!  It then morphs into Acai shite.

  • – supposedly from Free Federal Grant Software – but the redirection goes to the previous Acai shit, again.

All the above used a new type of string (for me) in their spam.  Like so:

Sometimes this can be very large and references pictures etc

Both Murdon & morton House were sent mail from Citizen Grant Notification. This proves they are accessing the same email lists.  Ressourcehurtcentral.com sent a lot.  They always redirected to which is part of one of the most odious legitimate companies on the world.  Ressourcehurtcentral.com in a web browser calls itself InteractiveMediaSpaces.com and it’s a very soothing, professional-looking space…..  Helpfully, they provide the following comforting sentiment from their office in 73 Greentree Dr Suite #81, Dover, DE 19904

These fat fuckers deserve a paragraph or two here. Their two gaffers seem to be involved in the redistribution of wealth from poor people in financial difficulties up to nice middle America Sports College things, Republican Party donations – as well as increasing the physical bulk of the head banker.  See:

How Centennial Credit Card Terms & Conditions actually Redistribute Wealth Upwards!

….you understand that your initial credit limit will be at least $250.00 and the following fees will be billed to your first statement: Annual Fee of $48.00, Account Set-Up Fee of $29.00, Program Fee of $95.00, Monthly Servicing Fee of $7.00, and an Additional Card Fee of $20.00 per card (if applicable).

Well that’s what it says.  So you borrow $250 and are instantly charged $179!

…well not quite.  Many people on phoning FPB claim that the company says it’s never received stuff and thus charge the ‘customer’ another $29 for late payment.  Well that’s okay and fair.

…apart from the internet access fee and the late and overlimit fees?  Yes….

– Because you only have access to $71 from the $250 you think you have after the first month, you may easily go over $250.  Then you are billed $29.  So you re-arrange the credit limit to cover this for which you are charged $25.

This is exactly the trap people fall into.  To borrow $72 you have to pay back $304 which kind-of makes a mockery of the 9.9% APR!!!

It doesn’t stop there though.  If you are credit-worthy, your limit is automatically increased to say, $500.  But don’t forget the $25 credit limit change fee!!!  Ha Ha.

Conclusion

Needless to say, I’m putting the Centennial Credit Card into the ‘No’ pile along with everything else.  In fact, as a special consideration, First Premier Bank of Sioux Falls are going straight down the German Toilet.  I advise everyone to do the same who gets a spam from them like this.   This is my gift to FPB:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

All future spam is going straight in the bin as time’s too short to analyse further.  Thank god for Mailwasher Pro!!  In fact, because FPB are so crap, my well-known bad taste has returned, just for them…

There’s a lot of hatred in the UK that we all have to pay a ‘licence’ fee to watch TV.

  • Some people say that it gives quality and independence to the Corporation.
  • Others have commented on the corridors full of empty champagne bottles…
  • Recent scandals like the Jonathan Ross affair have seen the BBC ‘fined’ for improper output and the bad behaviour of their ‘staff’ like Ross.
  • But the fine is ultimately paid by the licence payer!

Well nearly all.  The BBC has other income.  Some of it from advertising.

Channel ‘Dave’ for instance, a BBC related project carries adverts.   So does the BBC website, including the much trumpeted News website…..

If you don’t live in the UK, that is  !!!

Check the two screen-shots I’ve taken.   Both are of the ‘Entertainment’ page this morning taken at the same moment.

  • The left one is without ads as seen in the UK.  It’s taken using a clean internet feed and viewed with Firefox 3.
  • The right one has ads.  It’s taken using a proxy feed and viewed in Internet Explorer 8 for convenience.

The browser choice isn’t important.  It’s for the convenience of using a proxy anonymizer tool called UltraSurf on one browser, not both, to get exactly concurrent screen-shots in time.  Note how much screen real-estate is taken up with the adverts…

Interesting, huh?

Below is the plain text of an email spam I got today.  I always view as plain text and all my messages are spam checked, in various ways.  Some POP3 stuff comes in via Mailwasher Pro, which I’ve mentioned before; other stuff I forward through gmail and use the spam filters in there, which are quite good.

Above right is the email viewed in the Outlook client.  It’s the first time I’ve seen a spam claiming I was a Windows Live customer!  Maybe they know something I don’t know… ;-)

The point is that in plain text, it’s obvious the links are not from Microsoft, which is what one would expect.  Who are they from?

Viewing the html version above, makes it clear that it’s nothing to do with Microsoft!  It’s penis pills!  But to find out who it’s actually from, try this whois on the weirdly named ratherpurpose.com doomain:

If you’ve checked, you’ll see it’s our old Chinese friends lodged at the XIN NET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION!!!  :-?   I get a lot from them, and so does everyone else.  I’m pretty certain that they are an arm of the Chinese State.  The way that the Chinese Government tries to control and censor internet traffic makes this supposition too obvious for words.  Because if the Chinese State feared things so much, there’s no way at all that a gangster bunch like XIN NET could continue in operation.  How so?

In a post some time ago, I wrote how I contacted XIN NET about the abuse from a host (pun intended) of domains.  Within a day, I had a surge of spam emails, all from domains hosted by….  XIN NET!! (these posts listed at the end)

This apparent lack of control, from a state (in)famous for it’s citizen control, proves that the lack of control is by a state directive.  What the ultimate end-game of these actions is, who knows?  But I can guess that it’s to do with botnet control to be used for spying, industrial espionage, personal gain of people in charge, theft, general FUD spreading…
