The End of British Law – They’re All In It Together.

UK Legalises Retrospective Law Enforcement

UK leaders

UK leaders – No wonder they’re all smiling

No wonder they’re all smiling

In an astonishing move, HM Government has now enacted a law that allows any government (because it’s now part of case law) to sentence someone for breaking a law that didn’t exist at the time they “committed” an “offence“.

Worst of all, our dear labour Party let HM Gov do it!

Pardon?

Yes. You heard right.    (On the other hand, that’s consistent with my leaving the party some time ago.)

Just suppose that ten years ago, as part of your employment expenses, you were allowed to “flip” your expenses onto your work “home” and back again, yet a few years later this became illegal and you could be imprisoned.   I’m talking about the MP’s Expenses scandal of course, famous for its duck island, moat and second homes a mere hoppity-skip from the main home.   See MPs’ expenses: How Cabinet ministers have made tens of thousands ‘flipping’ their homes.

So what was “allowed” (as they thinly described it) is now “not allowed”.  Legality curiously disappears in this “allowing” farrago, yet some things were and are illegal yet hardly anyone was sent to the clink.  Just a few token stooges.

Workfare

So much for our privileged elite.

Not so good if you’re struggling in this artificially enforced time of economic restraint, wholly created by a roulette-based banking and investment class that shares the revolving door world with our politicians.

Because Iain Duncan Smith’s retrospective workfare legislation has just changed centuries of British law by making a law retrospective.

Now set in case law, the precedent has now been set for any law to be so applied.  You can now be penalised for something that was legal when you did it, but isn’t legal now.  That’s what it means.  Forget (for the moment) the injustice done to thousands of poor folks, fooled and misled into being stripped of their benefits.

The bigger picture is far worse and will have far reaching consequences.

This is really the ghastliest abomination from a whole series of actions where the freedom of the individual has been sequentially stripped over the past  decade or so.  No wonder they’re all smiling.  On top of this they’ve now gagged the press with whom they previously had such a nice cosy relationship.   They’ve made it so that if someone wins a libel case, they still have to pay all legal expenses!

Terrorism

Of course, terrorism (or the perception of terrorism through the western filter screen) is at the route of it.  The silent majority have let leaders do and say anything for so long that they’ve become accustomed to being scared and placid for so long that they can’t tell right from wrong anymore.   But consider this:

It’s always been illegal to trade with certain proscribed countries, organisations or individuals, (call them COI) at a given moment.  But it wasn’t always so.  At another moment, the list is different.

The precedent now makes it illegal for anyone to have traded with certain proscribed COI in the past even though they weren’t on the proscribed list years ago!  This is the bonkers conclusion to this daft legislation.  You can dream up any amount of scenarios.  All bonkers but now, apparently, all legal.

Introduction

I knew there was something really, really dodgy about that MyBookFace.net crap highlighted in this post the other day. Not only are they connected to some serious malware (as detailed in the posting), but they’ve an interesting line in popups!!!

Google Treasure Chest Rises Yet Again!

Here’s what to do…

Blogs » MyBookFace (Powered by phpFoX)

Blogs » MyBookFace

  1. Go to http://mybookface.net making sure that you’ve emptied your browser cache and removed cookies (you will find that the popup only appears once, if you close it down. So if you need to see it again, clear your cache & cookies)
  2. Now click on the “Blogs” link which is
    • You’ll now be presented with a popup window for San Francisco DAILY NEWS. This is located at http://www.net-news-daily.com and is yet another pseudo-news website that appears to be full of interesting links!
  3. Link Information for: www.net-news-daily.com

    Link Information for: www.net-news-daily.com

Actually, all of the links go to only a couple of destinations….. If you use the “Web Developer” plugin for Firefox, you can quickly see all the links in a web document – and in this case, there aren’t many!

    • You’ll also see that the T&C type links at the page bottom don’t work!! (these are the javascript void links)
  4. Let’s follow the link… Where do you think it ends up?

Google Fortune – GoogleWorksToday.com

Unbelievable, isn’t it?..!!

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google!

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google!

As seen and trusted on ABC, CNBC, CNN it says!! – well that’s one way of putting it!

In essence, it’s the same old trip we’ve had from Google Treasure Chest, Google Revolution, Google Money Tree. So from now on, anything like this is lumped into one ‘thing’ called Google Bollox.

The page is actually quite inviting and not quite as gaudy as before. Apparently, you can earn up to $907 per day (damn – I was hoping for $935 again.)

The same poor logic and content checking is going on though – at the bottom they helpfully inform the reader that their product isn’t endorsed by Fox News even though this is the first actual mention of Murdoch’s child.

Also at the bottom, there’s another new company (for me) called FunWebProfits View Marketing, Inc., 642 Main Street, Nevis. Nevis is that island in the Caribbean again!

Who Are They?

This seems a relatively recent addition. A Google search on the full name and address produces nothing. However, separating the name and address into two different searches produces the now-usual crop of complaints and allegations of fraud and theft that we’ve become accustomed to.

Try FunWebProfits View Marketing, Inc., 642 Main Street, Nevis.

The Nevis address has been in these pages several times. See:

Using this earlier research, and the website: http://www.sknvibes.com/Business/Trust.cfm?Vz=1, we can say that the Nevis company is:

Nevis International Trust Co. Ltd.
Mr. Eugene Herbert
P.O. Box 642
Hamilton Development
Nevis
Tel: 1 (869) 469-5132
Fax: 1 (869) 469-5898
E-mail: inttrust@caribsurf.com
Website: http://www.inttrust.com

The header at the top of the inttrust about page says it all. It’s a dinky little island so has to make money somehow…

Nevis is an excellent jurisdiction in which to open a Limited Liability Company (LLC). The Nevis Limited Liability Company Ordinance was passed in 1995 and has become very popular.

It offers a full range of financial services and products including asset management and protection, company formation and administration, insurance, foundations, mutual funds administration, offshore banking, investment management, and trust services.

Nevis offshore companies are free from taxation and are protected in privacy by the 1985 Confidential Relationship Act.

The blurb on their website offers strict confidentiality along with business expertise from the United States and Britain!

Another interesting bit is that the copyright for this crap is claimed by a company called “View Marketing”. This makes a Google Search on them very hard, presumably by design! The inconsistent punctuation is designed to mislead, is it not? I take it they’re nothing to do with the Scottish Tourism company of the same name… etc etc etc.

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google: Credit Card Entry Page

Because the GoogleWorksToday.com page is a “Limited Time Offer”, I thought I’d better leap in now before it’s too late…

I used my standard spam magnet email address but with a name of “Donna Kebab”(I’ll be waiting for some spam on this name, natch). I used the postcode of Scotland Yard in London and their general enquiries telephone number…. Mysteriously, I notice that they have a “mark of the devil” contact number of 877-402-2666….. Hmmm. Let’s check that out using Google, seeing as how I’m starting a new career with it today!!

Oh Dear! Best not.

This phone number already appears to have ‘prior’, as the boys in blue would say… Apart from the few scam sites like realjobsfast.com say, all the hits are complaints! Like:

Needless to say, like your typical “News of the World” reporter, I’ve made an excuse and left! However, this was not before noticing that the credit card page of GoogleWorksToday.com at

..has a WHOIS of:

Registrant: View Marketing
2862 Gulf to Bay Blvd
Building A
Clearwater, Florida 33759
United States

Domain Name: GOOGLEWORKSTODAY.COM
Created on: 22-Jul-09
Expires on: 22-Jul-10
Last Updated on: 22-Jul-09
Administrative Contact:
Marketing, View
2862 Gulf to Bay Blvd
Building A
Clearwater, Florida 33759
United States
+1.8774022666

This Florida place is in these little shack businesses, very nice.

However, spin round 180 degrees and we can find one possible source for the ‘company’ name… The large building is called “View Gardens”, ha ha!

Paths Running Deep and Murky

One of the scam site results in the Google search for the 877-402-2666 number was another pseudo news site (these must be effective because of their prevalence):

New York Reporter News at http://web.archive.org/web/20090802103410/http://news9at6.com:80/index14.php?

Jobs - Employment - New York Local News: Scam site

Jobs - Employment - New York Local News: Scam site

This scam site even has very convincing YouTube news-type videos, all targeted at the work-at-home-mom thing. As before, apart from the inbound feeds that add authenticity, there are hardly any links.

Most links point to this sucker-inner website:

http://web.archive.org/web/20090809071637/http://news9at6.com:80/google14.php?arid=

which redirects to:

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google! This time at https://www.processcartcenter.com

Google Fortune - Earn Money Using Google! This time at https://www. processcart center.com

…that will have an aura of familiarity for readers of my Google Treasure Chest – it’s a scam and a half! posting from April (yes, it’s processcartcenter.com again) and also, it’s exactly the same Google Fortune page as before, but with a different address…..

Whois, Who Are They?

All is not lost. Check out the IP addresses in the WHOIS’s for processcartcenter.com and googleworkstoday.com which are:

  • 209.90.119.16
  • 209.90.119.11

These are obviously related. Now if you suspect that they live in Utah, I’m not betting any money with you. The WHOIS for both these IP addresses is:

Fibernet Corporation: 1155 S 800 E, Orem, Utah 84097

Talk about keeping it in the family!

The Tabernacle-like building houses 3 companies:

Of the three, Fiber.net (sic) has definitely been involved in spamming from 1997 through to at least 2007. Nethosting.com seems to be a standard webhosting entity with the usual good and bad references.

Ceristar seems a bit odd, to say the least! Their previously posted domain name ceristar.com is up for sale and since 2000 they have had a host of double stock swapping company mergers and takeovers. Their stock exchange reference (OTC BB: CTRI) now seems to point to a Chinese Organic Food business, which wholly at odds with previous references to the company setting up ISP-related connections to all and sundry in Utah.

Conclusion

Scam, scam and thrice scam.

The only thing missing from this ferago of twisted and hidden businesses is some references to County Durham, Gibraltar, Pasig City or Nicosia, Cyprus.

No doubt they’ll pop up soon (pun intended)

Naturally, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THESE “OPPORTUNITIES”!!!
Follow the Guidance given in Google Treasure Chest – it’s a scam and a half!, Google Revolution, Different Name, Same Scam!, More on Google Profits and Pacific Webworks, Robert G Allen, Grants, and a Credit Card Slimeball
Between these articles I’ve now produced clear links between the various scam operations, their money stashed overseas and their business entity partners and covers in the USA and elsewhere.

Total Strike Irony

British Workers Sacked for Striking at French Company Total’s Site – see news report

Joan la Pucelle. [Aside] Done like a Frenchman: turn, and turn again! Shakespeare, History of Henry VI, Part I, Line 1695

"We were left no option. If we have to defend the rights of our men on these sites and our pay and conditions then we have to do that." - sacked contract worker, John McEwanIn Lindsey, Lincs, 650 workers have been sacked for being on an “unofficial” strike (whatever that means in a land of freedom,  fit for heroes).  The actual cause of the strike goes back many months….

Quoting a BBC report:

They had been building an additional plant next to the existing site in Killingholme, but withdrew their labour last week in protest at a sub-contractor axing 51 jobs while another employer on the site was hiring people.

The workers argued this broke an agreement not to cut jobs while there were vacancies elsewhere on the site. Total insists no such agreement was in place.

Workers insist the assurances were given in February following a bitter dispute in which they said foreign labour was being used to exclude British contractors and to undermine hard-won conditions.

My Word is My Bond

Personally, I believe the workers.

The root of the problem is that Total is a French company employing contracted labour on it’s British sites.  And, as we know, a Frenchman’s word is not binding – they’re more like guidelines actually, hence it’s usage in Shakespeare’s play.  An Englishman’s word is supposed to be more binding, but, like the MP signatures at the bottom of their expense claim forms, not as binding as you’d think (more of this in a later post).

This video is their weasely HR bloke, completely fudging the words,

  • official
  • protest
  • picket

..because the people on the gates are PROTESTING not picketting.  The people are former employees making a legal protest. Only employees can legally or illegally picket

Total Strike Irony

The irony of it all is that Total, in France, could never, ever, behave in the way they have done here. French employment and labour laws are much stricter than here in the UK.

The UK Industrial bosses and generally Tory voting management teams will always trumpet the clarion call that “we need flexible working to allow maximum productivity” or words to this effect.

Productivities ComparedThe absolute irony of it all is that productivity in France is much higher than here in the UK.  This is despite the 35 hour week and holidays every fifth week and for every saint’s day etc.

The extra irony is that because the French companies are more productive and thus “fit”, they are more profitable, have more spare cash and thus have bought up virtually every utility in Britain!

It’s just a shame that when Total came here, they employed British managers who run their business in a British, confrontational way.  As Paul Kenny, a union bloke said,

“Total has not even had the decency or courtesy to turn up at the meeting that they themselves arranged. Total is totally without integrity. Bullying and intimidation is not the way to bring about peace.”

Ironic, innit?

Sincere Words to Ignore

News Items

The only news item missing is that from a premiership football club at the wrong end of the league regarding the future employment status of it’s manager…

@AmazonThere have been two news items in the UK today that must surely have everyone either rolling their eyes in the air, or laughing down their sleeves, as to say that we’ve seen it all before is itself a bit of a cliche.

News Item Number One

GCHQ DoughnutAgency denies internet spy plans

“GCHQ is not developing technology to enable the monitoring of all internet use and phone calls in Britain, or to target everyone in the UK.
Similarly, GCHQ has no ambitions, expectations or plans for a database or databases to store centrally all communications data in Britain.
The new technology that GCHQ is developing is designed to work under the existing legal framework.”
– GCHQ statement

News Item Number Two

HarrietHarman: ‘I don’t want to be PM’“I don’t want to be prime minister and I don’t want to be leader of the party. It’s simply not true and under no circumstances would I want to be a candidate.”

Now Let’s Vote!

Do you think?

  1. Both statements are true?
  2. One or other statement is true?
  3. Neither statement is true?

Answer

If you answered 1 or 2, I don’t believe you or you are extremely young or gullible.

It’s going to be fun watching this awkward squirming moment in history pan out….

As an aside: I wonder if Harriet, if it all ends up as it appears, will use some of her experience gained as legal officer for  The National Council for Civil Liberties (now Liberty), to roll back some of the draconian measures that have been implemented by the government that she’s been part of and voted with at almost every moment?

Meet the United Kingdom’s Stasi

Public Trained in Anti-terrorism

@AmazonNot content with charging us for our ‘freedom’ to have ID Cards and CCTV on every corner, not content from stopping us take photographs in public, our UK Government in the shape of Home Secretary wacky baccy Jacqui Smith now wants everyone to spy on everyone else ‘in case they’re a terrorist’!

See the news here: UK plans comprehensive terror law

Apparently, 60,000 (non-governmental) people are already ‘trained’ to deal with terrorist incidents and how to spot one…

Stasi

The last time something like this happened (communism, cronyism, secret police, informers) was just before WW2 and it took until 1989 until the iron curtain collapsed.

During those years we saw;

  • a successive ramping up of hysterical xenophobia by the various leaders and power brokers,
  • an instigation of a secret police with draconian powers of arrest
    • and where people were routinely tortured
    • and could dissappear for years
    • or even be executed,
  • neighbourhoods where people spied on each other ‘in the name of the state’ but were quite often just used to settle petty grievances or steal lovers and spouses
  • a political class that set their own priviliges, rights and payments which were extravagently different to ‘the workers’ they supposedly represented.

Now tell me if these four points haven’t happened here?  We have, in order;

  1. a United Kingdom that’s socially divisive with a rampant xenophobic right-wing press and a government that year-on-year imposes more and more restrictions on freedom, rights and mobility.
  2. we have two secret police organistions, an armed police force that can arrest anyone with ‘due cause’ and use ‘reasonable force’ to do so – whatever all those weasely words mean.
    1. @AmazonWe’ve had UK citizens kidnapped and whisked off to a foreign land (Guantanamo Bay) for torture all with the express approval of our dear UK government.
    2. In Guantanamo our people have been held without trial; for years and years.
    3. IRA people were executed -same now, who knows?
  3. We’ve now got an expanded ‘Neighbourhood Watch’ of 60,000 who spy and are trained to do so by our UK Government (see today’s news link above)
  4. We’ve continuing disingenuous abuses of privilige by our elected folk particulary in the field of expenses and other, highly paid,  ‘conflict of interest’ type work.  The latest scandal is actually today, where Employment minister Tony McNulty has said he did nothing wrong by claiming second-home expenses on a London house where his parents live.

In this last one, McNulty has two homes only 8 miles apart and both in the Greater London area.  He says he needs them even though London has fantastic transport links.  Basically he’s getting us all to pay for a second London (high property prices!) home which is actually just round the corner to his other one.

@AmazonThe scummy corruptive inadequacies of this government, and the opposition it must be said, are that none of them, McNulty, Jacqui Smith, Derek Conway, and all the pseudo-nanny-keeping lot of them – none of them ever seem to think there’s anything wrong with any of it! In fact, they all collectively strived to keep their expenses, paid by you and me, from public scrutiny last January.

@AmazonI’ve no doubt at all that like all corrupt, secretive, authoritarian regimes of the past they’ll try and get everything hidden again.  Just like the Stasi.  Last night a show on TV revealed the excesses of communist history in Czechoslovakia.  It’s Bulgaria next week.  Another chance to compare and contrast to the world we have here in the UK.  This is the schedule – it’s on BBC2!  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jcgzt/episodes/2009 .  Try and watch.  A world where everyone is frightened to speak up in case they lose their livelihood and where the people in work do the absolute minimum, jealously plotting a route to join the elite.

It’s not for me.  I’m out of this world where taxpayers subsidise corrupt banker’s pensions and WW2 veteran’s last  expenses are paid for with a lottery!
