Dodgy Robert Allen on Facebook

Who Is Robert Allen?

For an answer to this, see these posts and follow up comments:

These posts are all related either by Robert Allen and/or the email and websites that advertise products like his and others.  To me, they are all scum, although they may not be actually related.

Facebook Advert

Facebook Ad for Robert Allen

Today I got a depressingly familiar advert on my Facebook homepage.  This is it here on the left.

echo-news.co.uk version

On checking with TinEye, I found at least one other example of the image at http://www.echo-news.co.uk/resources/images/656796/ which is the one on the right.

Call me mad, but isn’t there something wrong about the three components of the image – the house, car and bloke – they just don’t look right!

I now followed through on the link to see what my 2011 Deam Lifestyle would be like…..

Fake News Site at wbcnewsonline.com

Is Working Online At Home The Next Gold Rush

This news site is called “News11 Today” and is notable for the complete absence of the French newsreader Melissa Therieau!  This is the full screen grab on the right.

It has the tagline:

“Is Working Online At Home The Next Gold Rush”

Unfortunately, the image and caption at the top right of the fake news site have this extract, which I’ve shown on the here below:

News11 blatant Google Lie

News11 blatant Google Lie

News11 blatant Google Lie

And it is a blatant lie!

To para-quote;

“Google have NOT opened their doors and are NOT allowing the public to post links from the comfort of their homes on THEIR website.”

In fact Google have always had a pretty open door policy and allow anyone to post adverts for search or display adverts on their own website for fees.  They have always done it!!!

It’s what they do.

Google is an advert sponsored search engine!!!

It’s how they make their money!

Advert Link – the real monkey.

The whole point of the fake news site “News11 Today” is the promotion of a single advert which they claim is for:

Automated Home Profits.

The Automated Home Profits link actually goes to

wbcnewsonline.com

http://wbcnewsonline.com/business/uk-breaking-news002.php?c1=gb&c2=m&c3=24any&c4=1

Regular readers of these pages will not be surprised to learn that this “business” hides their identity (see my opinion on hidden identity here) – see WHOIS link

And knowledgable and wise internet folk will also not be surprised that the link takes you to a typically gaudy Get-Rich-Quick website, prototing the dubious merits of Robert Allen.  This time it is called… wait for it (drumroll)…

Home Wealth Package

Home Wealth Package - 1st page

Home Wealth Package - 1st page

The actual URL (after a redirect from http://wbcnewsonline.com/business/read-more.php) is http://apply.robertallenswealthpackage.com/?hop=rgamedia&c1=467659339&c2=400444 and it looks like the screenshot on the left.

Amazingly, there are only 5 places remaining!  (This dubious sales tactic is everywhere on the web as well as normal retail – this post I wrote over two days and in the morning there were still 5 places remaining, gosh.)

Now obviously, this is a pile of poo.  But when you try to leave you get:

“The begging prompt” – see here:

Please Don't Go!

You will notice that the cakground has changed….?  This is because the page has redirected to another one already!  It’s:

http://apply.robertallenswealthpackage.com/qualified/

Home Wealth Package - qualified!

Home Wealth Package - qualified!

..which means that trying to close the crap, qualifies me for an e-e-e-even more special offer that allows me to earn up to £379 per day (actually, I won’t get out of bed for less than £380 a day, so they’ve failed on that one).   This is the full page on the left.

An analysis of the page shows the same “loadsa money” girl from the Google Treasure Chest templates and I even spotted one iStockPhoto in the guise of the couple called “Jane & Jeremy C – Liverpool, UK”.

But check the bottom of the page – they carefully state in the smallest font known to mankind that,

Photos used are Not of actual customers.

Well that’s alright then.

Another thing that is obviously alright as it obviously does not seek to decieve is the disclaimer in tiny font at the bottom that states,

Home Wealth Package is not associated with CNN, People and TIME

…despite the prominently displayed logos at the top of the page.  This behaviour also occurred on the first landing page.  See two screenshots below.

This is a common pattern of behaviour for these scam get-rich-quick websites – they almost always have huge random logos of reputable internet businesses which are then diclaimered away in tiny printy at the botoom of the page.

Sign Up & Start Earning!  Rush My Order!

Handily there’s still five “positions” remaining….  Better get one fast, eh?  Clicking the nice large buttons takes me to this screen, where the logo disclaimer is now noticable by its absence!

Home Wealth Package - signup start

Please note the text at the bottom which states “We respect your privacy and will not rent or share your information with anyone.”   – –  This is NOT what happened when I did this previously (see links at beginning of this post).  At that time my email address was mercilessly spread around like confetti!

Click Bank Payment Form

Click Bank Payment Form

Clicking that button takes me to the Click Bank form where I would normally pay my £19.97.

At this point I left but consider what Robert Allen and his marketteers now have, even though I haven’t bought anything…?

  • They have my name.
  • They have my phone number.
  • They have my email address.

Fortunately, I gave my name as Mystic Meg, my phone number is that of Scotland Yard and my email address is my spam harvester.

But for anyone else suckered into this tissue of lies, they’d now be open to even more spam as an absolute minimum.

Co-incidence?

Co-incidentally with my observance of the Facebook advert, I got some email spam this morning onto a little-used email address that wanted to sell me email spam lists by profession! It looks like the start of a new campaign.

This is it with my email xxxx-ed out:

Message from the Chief Protocol of Independent Corrupt Practises Commission (ICPC)

I got a phishing spam this morning from Nigeria!

Typical 419 that I usually see: Office of the Seante House Nigeria

Nothing unusual in that, you say – the Nigerian 419 scam has been going on for years!  It even has it’s own scambusters (see references later) and the actual advanced fee fraud is usually just called a 419 scam because that’s it’s number in the Nigerian criminal code, apparently.

Anyway, I’ve not seen this particular version, and so I provide a full copy of all the spelling, syntax and language mistakes for your information and enjoyment.

From: Mrs. Marisa Smith <[email protected]>

All Healthcare is Temporary in America

Healthcare Woes

NHS LogoLying sick in bed this morning listening to a Radio 5 phone-in about the “state” of our Accident & Emergency (A&E) healthcare system here in the UK, I was struck by the failure of the radio show’s producers to engender the expected flurry of tales of woe and poor service.

Happy and Immaculate Professionalism

Far from the engineered curses that the show had hoped to produce – instead, a host of people took the time to phone in and praise the excellent service, waiting times, courtesy and professionalism that they had witnessed, sometimes under conditions of the utmost duress (e.g. during the accident black-spot due to falls on the winter ice).

Proposed Cutbacks

We are now all primed for cutbacks in services in the UK to pay for the banks’ greed.  However, all parties promise to protect the NHS’s frontline services.

The UK spends less on healthcare per capita than the USA.  This is not in doubt.  In fact, the USA spends more per person than any other country.

But now, consider this news article from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.  See how front-line healthcare staff are treated in the USA and consider the service you are likely to receive from such a system?

Obama’s Broken Temple Problem

Philadelphia Nurses Strike

Philadelphia Nurses Strike

The nurses at the Temple Hospital in Philadelphia have been on strike since March 31st.  This much is clear.

However, in contrast to the UK (and most of Europe), all the staff appear to be on fixed term contracts which had expired last SeptemberIn the UK, if you are good enough and pass all the tests, you get a job and keep your job (unless you need to move or progress in your career, say), to serve your local community.  As new techniques arrive, you pass more tests etc.  You build up your skills as part of a team.

In the USA, they appear to sack all staff from nurses downwards when their contracts are up, then replace all the staff with temporary staff!  This means that,

Most healthcare USA Workers are temporary…

The trouble is that all the right-wing forces at work there seem to believe that this is a good system and actually mock our NHS with comments like, “have you seen their teeth?”.  This is Obama’s problem with his efforts at healthcare reform.  The real truth is shielded from those in work and with private healthcare insurance, and they are a vociferous lot!

Healthcare?

The real truth is a warning:   Do Not Fall Sick Near Temple Hospital…. After all, what sort of care could one expect from a hospital staffed like that?  No matter how personally caring the staff are, there is no communication, no camraderie, no continuity, no honour.

In the dog eat dog world of America, it’s the last man standing who wins;  but what’s the point of being in a club of one?

Patriotic Battle

In fact, I have to question the sanity of anyone who would fight to defend a country (or it’s overseas interests) that treats it’s own citizens in pain with contempt and it’s caring profession with worthless indifference.

Tough Old Geordie

Strangely post on October 6th, 2009

Gordon Moore's Bonk

Gordon Moore's Bonk

Like a metal mickey, old Geordie Gordon Moore (no, not him of Intel and his ‘law’) has astounded the medical profession with the recent discovery that a big hole in his head has grown back under the protective metal plate that was inserted to fill the gap.  (see the story here: Man grows new skull after horror car crash from the Newcastle Chronicle)

The thing that got me though, is that Gordon seems to be a bit of a disaster merchant, seeking thrills and escaping continuously….

  • He went to Iraq as a tourist when the war was still on!
  • He ran an offy, in Gateshead!
  • He ran a post office, in North Shields!

As if these aren’t dangerous enough, in his early life he crashed his car and got the metal plate in his head for his trouble.

A short while after, he crashed his car again and bent the metal plate in his head!!!

The question that’s bothering me and is the one you should be asking yourself is,

Would I get in a Car with Gordon Moore driving?

After all, he’s alright – but what about if you’re standing next to him?  I tell you, Ozzy Osbourne’s boy, Jack, has got nowt on this guy Gordon Moore.

Another One Bites the (Coal) Dust

Third Solicitor Barred from Practice

Andrew NultyAndrew Nulty from Warrington is the third solicitor to get barred from the profession for stealing from clients.  He was fined £60k and barred and another lawyer, Malcolm Trotter was fined £15k.  (See full story)

Complete and Utter Thieving Twat lawyer Jim BeresfordThis follows on from the barring of Slytherin  lawyer, Jim Beresford last December, which I wrote about here.

As usual, the fines are in no way related to the magnitude of the offence.  For instance, Nulty made £13m in a single year, much of it by ripping off sick and dying coal miners, yet his fine was only £60k and loss of his job.

@AmazonCompare this to someone who doesn’t pay their TV Licence (~£130p.a.).

For this heinous crime against the TV program makers’ budget, you can be fined £1000 and/or imprisoned!  This story is a case in point.

@AmazonAnd this is the trouble with our society.

Slime ball professional lawyers get off scot-free and slime ball gambling bankers get bailed out and extravagantly pensioned-off.  Meanwhile, the poor and the sick suffer because of their corrupt actions.

I really hope that some form of asset recovery process (like the failed one, designed to target drug dealers and organised crime, and successfully discussed here in conjunction with the draconian chops taken with our liberties and freedoms), is applied to these scamming scum.  If 90% of their wealth was confiscated they’d still have plenty left and be able to live a much more comfortable life than the thousands of miners they ripped off.
