Liam Fox Bored of Trade?

HM Gov Press Release 12 Oct 2017

Source is here.  Interestingly, HM Gov omitted Fox’s full & proper title with the Rt Hon etc.  But, hey ho!  This is what it says:

blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah….blah

Well Then?

Liam Fox seems to want to be chair of a board with only himself on it.  Not even Adam Werritty.  I suppose it keeps it safe.

[Although being full-on when it comes to government security, he was notably omitting in any of this while being MOD chief and letting close friend Werrity in on trips and more, all without any vetting or clearance save his own, one-man pass of judgement] – see here for instance.]

Expensive Business, this.

How much Fox will claim on expenses for this one man and van operation is yet to be seen.

Famously, during the MPs expenses scandal he stole over-claimed the most of all opposition MPs at that time and had to pay it all back.

Is Liam Fox bored of trade?

He protested but still had to pay.

He also claimed 3p for a 100m car trip in 2013 so this man & van job will cost a lot more I reckon.  I mean, add on say, 19 grand for a mobile phone and it soon mounts up, doesn’t it?

Brexit Negotiations.

Easiest In History

But it’ll be all over soon and that one man board of trade will have it all to them/him-selves eh?  After all, Brexit is easy for Fox.

Just as easy as not brokering peace in Sri Lanka while in Major’s gov’t (with which he’s had a long attachment to ever since for some reason).

So not brokering peace in Sri Lanka, not abiding to the rules of parliament, not checking security when in a security job, claiming rent for houses not lived in, the list is a long one – but hey ho!

It’s all part of being the one-man-pipe-dreaming-band that is the Right Honourable Liam Fox MP.  As he once said, as reported,

Asked on Wednesday morning whether he should quit, Fox said: “I should carry on doing the job I’m meant to do – the job I’m paid for.”

However, the controversy shows no sign of dying down.

Chairman of the Bored.
